SUKKUR: A man strangled his 21-year-old daughter and her friend in Ali Gul village near Garhi Khero town of Jacobabad district on Thursday for maintaining relations.

He courted arrest at the Garhi Khero police station.

The police said that Chango Khan came to the police station and informed them that he had strangled his daughter, Shah Gul, and her friend Sohnu Leerwani, in his house.

They said they went to the house and collected the two bodies after arresting the man.

The two bodies were taken to the Garhi Khero Hospital for a post-mortem examination and then handed over to the heirs, the police said.
