ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) have qualified for the 13th Men’s Netball Championship’s final, which will be played today at Hamidi Hall of Pakistan Sports Board.

In the semi finals played on Thursday, the army defeated the police with a heavy margin.

In the allotted four quarters, of 28 minutes, the army’s team scored 37 goals while the police’s team could only score 16 goals.

In the second semi final, which was the most exciting fixture, HEC beat Pakistan Air Force with 21-19. Secretary Pakistan Netball Federation Mudasar Arain said that the final match will be played today at the same venue.

He said that the Chairman HEC Dr Mukhar Ahmed and Director General Pakistan Sports Board Dr Akhtar Nawaz will be the chief guests of the final match.
